please comment feedback on AI, working ai in skirmish mode on vanilla factions for now only. Does not affect campaign.

Mod overrides some core game files for optimisation and such when activated/deactivated, therefore sometimes the game will close when activiting the mod for the first time, just load back up the game normally and it will be in mod as normal.


Multiplayer, AI and singleplayer friendly mod that adds lots of nations, missions, infantry and vehicles, compressed files to help with load speed, ram usage and general performance.





Some of my favourite random things added to this mod you should try:
  • Custom made special forces faction, "Allied Expeditionary Force", based around special infantry, lightly armored airborne forces and marine forces.
  • Operation Market Garden (AEF)
  • Operation Overlord (AEF)
  • Omaha Landing Force (AEF)
  • SAS Experimental AT Detachment (AEF)
  • Engineers (any nation)
  • Fallschirmjager air support coordinator (Germany)
  • VDV Support Coordinator (Soviet Union)
  • Kamikazi Parachutists (Japan)
  • Mannerheim Plan (Finland)
  • O-I (Japan)
  • Maus (Panzer Elite)
  • Karl Thor (Germany)


Every nation has unique vehicles, prototypes and reasons to play each so make sure to check them all out.



Changes:
  • Added new faction, Allied Expeditionary Force.
  • Added a variety of new infantry units.
  • Added new SP call ins.
  • Added new vehicles, including new prototype vehicles.
  • Added new visual effects.
  • Fixed optimisation problems, such as deleting unused vehicles (quite a lot of those) to help with crashes from memory issues.
  • Increased zoom for all maps so camera is basically unlocked.
  • Balanced heavy/super heavy tanks to add more flaws and weaknesses, but still powerful.
  • Balanced frontline income and score gaining to play better in multiplayer.
  • Added a very large amount of maps, both frontlines and assault zones/combat maps.
  • Changes to minor nations to make them more balanced with the major powers and gives a reason to play every country.
  • General balance changes.
  • Icon/interface changes on some units to look better.
  • Bug fixes.



How to use paratroopers:
  • Spawn in a unit which airdrops.
  • Right click somewhere, or keep moving it until you have your location you wish to spawn, watch out not to spawn it too close to the map edge.
  • Deselect spawner and await your airdropped vehicle or paratroopers.



Known issues:
  • Missing map localisation for about 1/5 maps, doesn't change anything about the map just means it gives the file path in the map name instead of looking all nice in the lobby.
  • Clicking continue game without a save for it to continue from will close game, load saves manually if not sure.
  • AI for the latest added faction, allied expeditionary force, is currently not built in but is being worked on.
  • Not really an "issue" but models for paradropping tanks or support guns have been changed to dropped boxes rather than dropping the tank/support gun itself to save memory and prevent crashes, slightly annoying but works as it has nonetheless.
  • The German mission 'seelow heights', when you connect an pak40 to an sdkfz251, you get an Exception_ACCESS-VIOLATION, and a crash.

If your PC is struggling to handle in larger player games and seeing game crashes, checkout this 2 minute tutorial by SpeedWolf. If you are still struggling, lower the amount of factions used, more factions means more ram usage, potato PCs can usually handle 4 different nations in one battle without much problem in a 3v3 for example.

Restarting after every game will also clear RAM/cashe and help with reducing crashes
