U.N.C.F. Amatsukaze DDS-708 - Isokaze Wave IV Class Space Destroyer

Description
"Do you feel the calm of the summer breeze upon the beach?"

The Isokaze class destroyer was developed along-side the Murusame class cruiser for both of the Inner Planetary Wars to fight the Martian Space Fleet. They served in numerous positions throughout the wars as anything from picket ships, to scouting craft. They gained a reputation for being highly maneuverable and deadly in combat with their long range torpedoes as well as their light laser batteries. Wolf-packs of three or more of these ships would often ambush larger enemy craft and cargo vessels by disguising themselves as dead hulks, or by hiding in nearby asteroids.

After the second Inner Planetary War, there would only be just over 80 of these craft active in the fleet, with all the others either floating husks or scrapped. These craft would serve as anti-pirate vessels for the next several years until an unknown fleet was detected moving through the Sol system. The fleet that had gone to meet these alien craft had several of the new Wave III Isokaze class ships, all of them would be lost in the first battle of the Earth-Gamillas War.
The war would go poorly for the UNCF, and they would lose almost all of their warships in combat.

The older, and last, 12 isokaze class ships from the Second Inner Planetary Wars, would finally be launched from Earth in "Operation M," a decoy mission to allow a special message to reach Earth. They would all subsequently be lost with all hands as the older tech of these ships stood next to no chance against the advanced technology of the Gamillans.

After the Earth had been saved, thanks to the crew of the Space Battleship Yamato, a new Wave IV style of the Isokaze class would start construction. Unlike the previous waves of the class, however, these ships would not see any front-line combat as they would be relegated to VIP escort, recovery, and patrol vessels. Not many of the newer Wave IV ships would be built, though the ones that were built would be sent off as anti-pirate vessels in addition to their other assignments.

Creator's Note:

I remember watching the original Yamato on Netflix way back in the day, and I wasn't all that impressed with this ship. I thought it was neat but moved on to the main event shortly there-after. Then the 2199 show came out and I quickly grew to respect this ship. This tiny ship is the only one that gets a kill in the very first episode in the series. Two if you want to count that incident of friendly fire between Gamillan warships just before the Yukikaze's destruction. It was a nimble little thing that I wish we saw more of in the 2202 show. I haven't seen the new 2205 show by the time of writing this but I hope we get to see a bit more of it. I'm not betting on it though.

Once again, this is a redesign of a ship that was originally built by Blue Moon (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2848789228). Then I came in with the newer mods made by ribera1945e (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/ribera1945e/myworkshopfiles/). I hope you guys enjoy and give the original creator and the mod creator the credit they rightfully deserve.

hey LupineDawn... small Question, Could you actually Change the Looks and Modify like you did with the Murasame and Isokaze that were made by Blue Moon if i gave you a Version of the Yamato that was as close to the show and can fit the Mods? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2298394922 cause if you truly can, i'd love to see you attempt to Modify both look and feel of this ship using not only the mods used for the three ships you did for this plus the other two, but other mods to make this work?

I have picked up your Yuunagi and I have already begun a retro-fit of the hull and internals. Thanks for letting me work on it! Here's a sneak peak: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2918041874

this is cool, just a thought, since Blue Moon didn't do the Kongo, maybe i can offer you to use mine? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2915766546 i based some/most of the design from your Murasama redesign and did my best to make the Kongo as good as i could, while it has the Yamato mods and Shields , the inside is completely Empty aside from the bridge,
