Joryu Arakawa, otherwise known as his alias of DJ Professor J, was an avid fan of Hip Hop from the start, with Pro Wrestling coming in second concerning his interests. He made a name for himself making remix tracks and sampled beats in his time being a largely "green" wrestler working the low-level sleaze promotions of Japan. A move that was largely inspired by the exploits of fellow rapper/wrestler, Lil' Lariato.

He eventually landed a stint in an upstart promotion in the form of MUW, where it was seen that he might be able to make it big in this next step of his career, alongside receiving recognition for his contributions in the Lo-Fi Hip Hop scene.
