"This thing is surprisingly old for how often its still used by freelancers, I'm not even sure why they use it at all, next to no survival assistance, most of the craft is just engines and steel, the powerpack is excessive, its lateral thrust is lackluster, most of its so called 'armor' comes from its sheer size. Honestly theres a lot of problems with this thing. But from what I've seen its enjoyable for most pilots and excellent for convoy raids, small bases and the like. A common strategy I've seen employed when reviewing combat footage of Myrmidons is the pilots will often do spins and flips, it looks silly, but apparently this is to take advantage of the Myrmidons incredible vertical thrust, allowing it to brake quickly. All things considered the parts and fuel for this are old and rather expensive, but we still produce them in droves making it a rather lucrative choice, stopping sales of the Myrmidon gunship would likely tank our ship sale numbers."
