WWII US Army Flatcars

Description
Over hill, over dale, we will hit the dusty trail
And those caissons, go rolling along!
Up and down, in and out, counter march and left about
And those caissons, go rolling along!

The US Army has made its way into Rolling Line. These models are as close to 1:1 scale as I can get. Failing that, all the models are within an inch or two of the real thing (besides…it’s not like you can tell the tracks on the M4A2 model are 16 inches wide when they’re supposed to be 16.5 inches lol).

This pack includes the following vehicles, both in a single and double load arrangement:

M3 Lee
M4A2 Sherman
M4A3E8 “Easy 8” Sherman
M7 Priest
M10 Wolverine
M3 Halftrack
GMC 352 “Deuce-and-a-Half”

Now, while these vehicles are primarily from WWII, there are some vehicles that saw action/use in the Korean War (so the 1950s). The following vehicles can be used on layouts set during the 1950s with no issues:

M4A3E8 “Easy 8” Sherman
M7 Priest
GMC 352 “Deuce-and-a-Half”

The vehicles themselves don’t support liveries/camo patterns and the UVs aren’t set up for making camo patterns either, just solid colors (and looking at the US Army’s camo schemes for vehicles during the 40s and 50s, they really didn’t have any apart from the wide stripe desert camo). So, for the vehicles…solid colors only, sorry. The flatcars themselves, however, can be liveried to any railroad you want or can think of.

Feel free to livery the flatcars to any railroad you want, but if you upload any liveries of them to the workshop be sure to credit me.

GENERAL NOTES

Some flatcars are 40 footers, others are 50 footers.

The flatcars are named according to the official military designations of the vehicles they carry (you shouldn’t need to brush up on your military terminology, but just know you won’t find “Double Easy 8” or “Single Deuce-and-a-Half”)

I have no plans for additional vehicles/tanks or any special variants of said tanks at the moment...I may revisit the idea in the future though.

So remember, there's a war on pal! Keep 'em firing! Lend a hand to Uncle Sam and get these tanks to the front!

Edit: Honestly didn't think I would ever make the front page of the workshop...yet here we is. Thanks to everyone who downloaded this pack!

@noah777 I haven't ruled out a handful of foreign nation variants, but I will admit that they aren't very high on my list of priorities or potential projects

@Max Monlux no, I won't be taking requests. If something else gets added to this pack or I make another pack, it will be what I personally want to add.

Do you take requests?
