"The M4 carbine (officially Carbine, Caliber 5.56 mm, M4) is a 5.56×45mm NATO, gas-operated, magazine-fed carbine developed in the United States during the 1980s. It is a shortened version of the M16A2 assault rifle.

The M4 is extensively used by the United States Armed Forces, with decisions to largely replace the M16 rifle in United States Army (starting 2010) and United States Marine Corps (USMC) (starting 2016) combat units as the primary infantry weapon and service rifle. The M4 has been adopted by over 60 countries worldwide, and has been described as "one of the defining firearms of the 21st century".

Since its adoption in 1994, the M4 has undergone over 90 modifications to improve the weapon's ergonomics and modularity, including: the M4A1, which strengthened the barrel and removed the burst-fire option; the SOPMOD, an accessory kit containing optical attachments; and the underbarrel M203 grenade launcher.

In April 2022, the U.S. Army selected the SIG MCX SPEAR as the winner of the Next Generation Squad Weapon Program to replace the M16/M4. The rifle is designated XM5." - Wikipedia's article on the M4 carbine

Here it is, the MW 2019 M4A1 (The Purist version). This mod replaces the M16 with the M4A1 from MW 2019 (Including the reload sounds and gunfire sounds).

This version of the mod by mav and ThomasCat is the fixed version. This version of the mod fixes the broken bolt catch and undetachable worldview magazine bug. The camera shake is removed for those that prefer having no camera shake.

@It's my puppy it's because the mod's reload animation sequence is using 'snap' which prevents the animation from blending with previous animation(e.g. bash right after starting reload) which means if remove snap option the audio glitch will be fixed but also you will see weird blending animation (e.g. mag flitting around in the air) when bash while reload. so i think it might as well be left as it is now:steambored:

this guy doesn't fix the goddamn audio bug on his mod no matter how many ppl are begging for it
after reloading theres an audio bug, theres a click sound that keeps repeating every time m2 is pressed, unless the gun is fired again, it takes the satisfaction right out of this mod which is otherwise excellent
