Description
FOR VERSION 1.3!
My version of the famous Boeing B-29 Superfortress named Bockscar that dropped the nuclear bomb over Nagasaki.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

The B-29 had a rather large crew of 11: Pilot, Co-pilot, Bombardier, Flight Engineer, Navigator, Radio Operator, Radar Observer, Right Gunner, Left Gunner, Central Fire Control, and Tail Gunner. All 11 corresponding seats are in the plane.

This is the "Silverplate" version of the plane used for dropping the nuclear bombs over Japan. All armour plating was removed and only the tail turret remains to save weight. It also carries extra fuel in the rear bomb bay.

Bockscar carries a payload consisting of 1 Fat Man nuclear bomb in the front bomb bay.

Alt controls to fly.

W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right Arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear. *
Hold X/Reverse steering: Bomb bay doors.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Drop Little Boy. **
B/Beacon: Fire in engine 1.
K/Hazard lights: Fire in engine 2.
L/Headlights: Fire in engine 3.
(Alt+)PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary: Fire in engine 4.

Camera 1: Bomb sight.
Camera 7 and 8: Left and right unner's viewing cupolas.

Alt + Arrow keys + Fire action 1/Num 1 or Mouse for all turrets from their respective seat. Camera numbers in parenthesis.
Tail turret (6) is controlled from the tail gunner's position under the tail fin.

* Also extends the tail bumper that prevents the rear ventral turret or the tail itself from scraping the ground on take-off. This was a real feature.
Red warning lights in cockpit and for flight engineer when landing gear is up.

** I added a thruster to make the Fat Man fall nose down more reliably.
The extremely annoying randomness of the game sometimes sends the bomb into the plane, or any which way but down, but it works most of the time.
The bomb is set to explode a bit off the ground. Sadly the boom is not very impressive. :)

Due to limitations of the tools in Brick Rigs and also due to the plane's design (and my lack of patience and abiility) there is a lot of clipping of the guns and other parts, and I know some areas are rough to say the least.
This is also why the flight controls do not move. They clip through the main windscreen and just go mad if they have any moving parts.
It is what it is, but the plane flies well and drops a nuke so... :)

Feel free to edit, but if you re-upload publically in any way please acknowledge the original creation and creator.

Have fun!

I'm not quite sure what you mean? I can try to make my Republic P-47 Thunderbolt bubbletop into a Razorback version when I adapt it to 1.3 if that's what you mean? :)

I'll slowly but surely tweak all of my planes to work better in 1.3 but there are quite a few so it may take a couple of weeks to get them all done.
