Fýri-class Frigate

LORE: Named after the legendary Jarl Fýri the Faithful, the first Duchess of Metalburg, this frigate is equipped with a high-tech command room and combines the classical Viking brutality with state-of-the-art targeting and navigational systems. It was one of the most long-serving vessels in Metalburg, and also one of the most employed in the many overseas mercenary contracts taken by the Navy. The Fýri-class was last used in battle in the Purge War, when most of the units were outclassed and defeated by newer vessels that used a very prototypical version of the Energy Shield (a technology that ended in enemy hands for an unknown reason - treason, probably), and the few remanining ones disappeared when the whole island of Metalburg was sunk by the sudden Kaiju attack that ended the War (or that's what the legend says, at least).
