Description
Hey everyone,
I finished porting the arquebus and pistol models made for the empire back in warhammer2.The units details must be set to ultra and put just before a reskin mod that reskin the handgunner or the pistols units if you want all the models to appear.Otherwise,you will get only 2 new rifle models and 3 new pistol models.
The mod is only a little line added in the weapon sets of the empire units.As such it doesn't needs to be updated for every patches and dlc drops.If one update break it ,tell me and I will fix it.

In this mod,there is:
-4 handgun model(3 matchlock arquebus and one doglock arquebus).
-4 pistol models:all wheelocks.
They do not replace the vanilla gun models but simply add to the model list the units get their models from.If a mod add a new rifle set it migth conflict.

The inspiration are from real life matchlock arquebus and the artwork of David Gallagher for the 6th edition of the empire and the book :heraldry of the empire.

The models and texture were made by me.

A sidenote, when Ca fixed the pistols on the hips animation bug the empire had last year ,they messed up the position of the pistols when not firing. I am waiting to see if they fixed it in TOD.
This is present for all the pistols models (even the vanilla one)but my models are more impacted by this change.They hover a bit over the hand when not firing but get back in the right position when the pistol is fired.
I don't know if the issue is solved but I used the visual bug fixes mods in the past to remedy this.
These models are of course free service if you want to add them to your mod ,just mention me .

@ThrobbingforMorbius. Most of these mods doen't create a new weapon set for their new units so yes, they should.

will these show up in circulation among new units that are given empire handguns like the Kislevite millitia with handguns mod?

karlFooknTanner, I added the gun set lines to the steam tank commander and the gun wagon gunner and corrected a mistake that made so two pistol models did not came with the pistoleers.

@The Big Lebelski, i made a submod that should make it so my rifles models appears with Ziocru reskin alongside the models he made for his mods. Check Zc empire reskin and Reaverbad's gun pack compatibility submod

@reaverbad this is the only reskin mod i have in all my total war games.
what really annoyed me with the handgunner unit was that the vanilla muskets/guns had no triggers whatsoever...
i do not know why the vanilla muskets/guns don't have any triggers, but it annoyed me greatly, and that is the reason why i searched for a reskin mod in the first place.
just because of those missing triggers...

The mod works on my end but like I said, some reskin have added their own gun set to their mod so it might need some work around some reskin mods.
Dryrain reskin should work without a hinch for exemple. Ziocru reskin has new handguns sets so it will need a compatibity mod.
Thanks for letting me know , it was the visual bug fixes mod. I will put it in text and remove the link then.
