Adds dismemberment and decapitation to all Giants



Dismemberment Overhaul is a mod project where I will try to add blood and gore to many monstrous units in the game! In this one we'll cover Giants! one of the biggest punching bag in the game!

Requirement
  • Blood for the Blood God DLC.
Features
  • Giants now can be Beheaded, Disarmed SO BRING DA BIG GUN you gotta do some real damage to see the effects.
  • They can also be Blown to Pieces but I simply couldn't find any arsenal in The Fated Place that could do it, But surely the true question is, Can you?
  • This mod included all Giants in the game (bony one not included but he will get his later).
  • Purely Graphical have no effect on balance and gameplay in anyway.

Bug / Compatibilities
  • Warhammer 1 Giants(Beastman,Greenskin) missing an arm skeleton which mean I can't attach gore stump on them I'll look more into it later and you'll probably will never even notice it because it is quite rare anyway.
  • Can be use and uninstall at any time during campaign.
  • This mod uses custom limb stump assets and added via unit's VMD file which means it's a reskin of some sort so it's not compatible with reskins mod unless there is a patch made for it.
  • You're FREE to use this mod and every files in it to make a patch for your mod.
  • Also have battle_entities files which needed to enable dismemberment for units.


Side note: I'll bundle all of these mods later, This one is more on the experimental side on even bigger units, And I was gonna do race by race but since giant is a share roster might as well bundled them together but let me know how do you want me to release them in the future.

@Chaotix777 Well, I got some good news for ya! You can make them stay alive and fight while headless, There isn't a mod that does it yet but you can look up "Living Dismemberment" for some example! :sans:

@Armorchin cool! Even that would be a great addition. I guess it can trigger only when they die right? Well obviously with Kharybdiss, but what about Hydras? Will they fight on without head when their regen ability triggers, or its only happens when they die?
