@EmperorIng217, one of developers of the tools they used here, I'd very much rather the maps *not* be easily yanked apart and distributed, there is a reason very few models are on ModelersResource, my team can't take the risk of Nintendo deciding to take us down because other people are openly using tools we developed to create a reimplementation of their game, while what @Priception has done is amazing we can't condone or provide support for anything that's been done here.

Hello, I was wondering if you'd be willing to share this mod's source files to allow compatibility for the Bot Boot Camp project, which is currently adding support for Halo 2 . Also, just to be clear, @xSoMuchPotx is creator of Bot Boot Camp, and says he's open to the prospect sharing said compatibility! This would also open the doors to people like myself who don't have other people to play with, but want to experience what this mod has to offer! :)

I used to play Metroid Prime 2 multiplayer all the time!! And now we got Metroid Prime 4 gameplay?? I'm so happy!! Also, I love these! Imagine how cool it would be if we got everyone to look like Samus Aran as well as the weapons like in the Metroid Online for custom edition project, that'd probably take a lot of work though!

These ports still amaze me, great work makin' 'em look so 1:1. I wanna ask, though, could a shared.map benefit the file size?

@Priception Well that's cuz of the latest MCC update as it used to work with vanilla halo 2 maps but not most of the anniversary ones. (Except for the two maps added by the Windows Vista port, whether the original files or the MCC ones.) Now the recent MCC update changed the MCC vanilla halo 2 map files, because ones from the original 2004 xbox 1 disc work just fine. As for metaforce, why is it only the level models that have this issue? And as far as I know all the level model textures rely on the red uv number (UV 1, etc) that's at the beginning of that visual scripting. So either blender doesn't export the data in that red uv number OR it might be that blender sets any materials exported/imported to principled BSDF when the materials are "ubershader" as if you try to change that to anything else it will cause the uv map data to be nuked. But because that also happens if you delete the red uv number, then it might be that blender doesn't save that in the export. Maybe both.

@EmperorIng217 I can't do anything about the maps not being able to be opened in Reclaimer. As that's the case with all H2MCC maps.

For the issue you're having with Metaforce, that's caused by each model having multiple UV maps. What u have to do is go through each UV map on the model and only have one UV map which is that one that renders correctly.

I will be releasing all the source files when the 1.0 version of this mod releases, which will happen sometime in 2024.

The 1.0 version of this mod plans to address the issues the BETA currently has. Such as the sound issues.

Yeah, 343i really needs to get a modded server browser in the game and Splitscreen for PC.

@Priception Hey, can you please make it so Reclaimer can open the map files? I would love to rip the level models, but reclaimer can't open it, and as for metaforce, well, I don't know HOW THE GODFUCKING FUCK you did it, but as far as I know there is NO WAY IN HELL to get blender to export the UV TEXTURE MAPPING of ANY LEVEL MODEL of any of the three games, regardless of what file format you try to export it as or what you try to do. That is one thing that makes metaforce GARBAGE compared to reclaimer, and I would GIVE MY ASS for a clone of reclaimer that does what it does only with the Prime rom files instead of halo map files. As far as the maps themselves go, one there's no music sadly. Also, because there is no double jump in Halo 2, gravity has to be set to 50% before each mach. Also, fuck 343 for locking the custom game browser behind anti cheat HOW THE GODFUCK ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO PLAY A CUSTOM MULTIPLAYER MATCH WITHOUT IT?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:steamfacepalm:

@CodySir Thanks for the feedback. I plan on adding that for the 1.0 release of the mod which is currently in development.
