the map isnt infinite, i hit a dead end where the road cuts off.

I'm sorry if you don't like it. Could you try to port an urban highway called shuto for example for gta 5 or something like that based on Infmap?
There are several similar maps, but they are not all good. I think others might like this map too. Just imagine (if a good port of the card comes out with normal collisions, etc.) you take a car based on simfphys, for example, and start driving along these long roads of Japan, maybe not even alone.

I think what you should do next is stitch together all the levels of Half Life 2 and make one big map. Like you have the City 17 area, then the canals, then the coast, etc.

also @Fallschirmjägermarz the load times are pretty good regardless of addon count from my experience
