CURRENT VERSION:
1.1.4.9 (beta)

ADVISORY:
Consider backing up your universe and player folders if you plan to use this mod. Many of the changes and additions will affect the universe and player characters. If you have played Starbound with Aetherium Engine installed, and then uninstall it, you will cause crashes and other weirdness.
Also, Aetherium Engine is relatively untested with the compatibility of it and other mods, so there may be inconsistencies to be found. Feel free to let Kaibyo know if Aetherium Engine interacts strangely with another mod or errors out because of one.

[Only report compatibilities and incompatibilities to Kaibyo if they aren't on the lists]
COMPATIBILITIES, INCOMPATIBILITIES, & BUGS:
[COMPATIBILITY] Avali (Triage) Race
Aetherium Engine also has aerogel and graphene, albeit with different crafting recipes. This may or may not make things easier for either mod.

[INCOMPATIBILITY] Frackin Universe
As Aetherium Engine is an overhaul, it is bound to have several things in common with Frackin Universe. Plans to make Aetherium Engine compatible with Frackin Universe have yet to be decided.

[INCOMPATIBILITY] Extended UI
Causes a hammer and gear to float in the middle of the [C] crafting menu.
Note- Hyper Bakana! has made a few patches to fix this issue that can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/profiles/76561198931194210/myworkshopfiles/?appid=211820

[INCOMPATIBILITY] Natural Stone (and Natural Stone + Liquid Interactions)
Like Fracking Universe, Aetherium Engine also adds a Rock Grinder, alters Rock01 through Rock20, and has many interactions with various blocks and materials. As such, it is advised to not use Natural Stone or Natural Stone + Liquid Interactions while having AE installed, and vice versa.

[INCOMPATIBILITY] Any mod that in any way alters the replicator, the atomic furnace, and/or the sewing machine. In Aetherium Engine there are changes to the replicator, the atomic furnace, and the sewing machine, that either involve changing the animations of it or allow it to be upgraded further. The replicator has three more add-ons it can take, the sewing machine can be upgraded, and the atomic furnace can be upgraded. Mods like Frackin Universe are incompatible with Aetherium Engine. While you can still use other mods that alter the replicator, the atomic furnace, and the sewing machine, you may experience weirdness if you do.

As I mentioned in the K'Rakoth Mod comments, I have finally figured out the conflict with it and Aetherium Engine. The K'Rakoth Mod should no longer have any issues with AE.

I've been testing my Aetherium Engine with only the K'Rakoth mod, and I'm 99% sure it has something to do with one or more of the microdungeons and some odd interaction between the two mods. I apologize for the trouble AE has been causing; I'll try to fix the issue(s) asap.

@Armok I'll look into it

@Kaibyo it seems that this mod breaks the K'Rakoth mod's Ashy planets, as it appears responsible for the following crash that happens on them: https://pastebin.com/HXqv3CB2

v1.1.4.8 (beta) Changelog
-The recipes for AI chips and Minkowski vacuums now work again.
-Taya's Procyon Procurements is now available near the ancient gateway, allowing players to spend their victory shards on rare items.

not compatible with starbound awakens, as it also uses chert material

Ah, so it's obsolete. Thanks

@Dudeknightz The Aetherium Engine Music Replacer is still an option to be used; I just recommend using Aetherial Echoes if you'd like to hear something different (or if you want to stream Starbound with different music that's stream-friendly). I endorse usage of both music replacers, thought not at the same time because of conflict between the two.
Dudeknightz 30 Sep, 2024 @ 5:23am
Or is it obsolete?
Dudeknightz 30 Sep, 2024 @ 4:56am
@Kaibyo I mean the "Aetherium engine music replacer" that you also made
