As I mentioned in the K'Rakoth Mod comments, I have finally figured out the conflict with it and Aetherium Engine. The K'Rakoth Mod should no longer have any issues with AE.
Kaibyo  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 10:42pm
I've been testing my Aetherium Engine with only the K'Rakoth mod, and I'm 99% sure it has something to do with one or more of the microdungeons and some odd interaction between the two mods. I apologize for the trouble AE has been causing; I'll try to fix the issue(s) asap.
Kaibyo  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 6:07pm
@Armok I'll look into it
Armok 29 Oct, 2024 @ 11:44pm
@Kaibyo it seems that this mod breaks the K'Rakoth mod's Ashy planets, as it appears responsible for the following crash that happens on them: https://pastebin.com/HXqv3CB2

v1.1.4.8 (beta) Changelog
-The recipes for AI chips and Minkowski vacuums now work again.
-Taya's Procyon Procurements is now available near the ancient gateway, allowing players to spend their victory shards on rare items.

not compatible with starbound awakens, as it also uses chert material
Dudeknightz 1 Oct, 2024 @ 5:35am
Ah, so it's obsolete. Thanks
Kaibyo  [author] 30 Sep, 2024 @ 3:08pm
@Dudeknightz The Aetherium Engine Music Replacer is still an option to be used; I just recommend using Aetherial Echoes if you'd like to hear something different (or if you want to stream Starbound with different music that's stream-friendly). I endorse usage of both music replacers, thought not at the same time because of conflict between the two.
Dudeknightz 30 Sep, 2024 @ 5:23am
Or is it obsolete?
Dudeknightz 30 Sep, 2024 @ 4:56am
@Kaibyo I mean the "Aetherium engine music replacer" that you also made
Kaibyo  [author] 29 Sep, 2024 @ 1:45pm
@Dudeknightz I don't understand what you mean. Aetherial Echoes is the music pack.
Hyper Bakana! (stranger1-5) 28 Sep, 2024 @ 9:48pm
@Kaibyo Alright, thank you all the same.
Dudeknightz 28 Sep, 2024 @ 4:03pm
Could you make it so aetherial echoes loads after the music pack? i really want to use the music pack but aetherial echoes is peak
Kaibyo  [author] 28 Sep, 2024 @ 2:24pm
@Hyper Bakana! I've considered making something within the game similar to the Lab Directory from FU. Specifically I've wanted to make it portable, but alas my Lua skills are severely lacking. The fact that I've gotten as far as I have with the Lua currently in AE is nothing short of help, trial and error, and luck. I've also explored the idea of putting certain things in a codex or three, but there would be almost too much information to put into several codices.

That aside, I will be making it easier for players to obtain information outside of the wiki, but how is my biggest conundrum.
Hyper Bakana! (stranger1-5) 28 Sep, 2024 @ 8:46am
So, I was wondering if you could make a book to document the source of some important materials, or a special database for players to search for the materials they need? Because in the process of playing this module, I will not know how to obtain some materials. Although I later found the way to obtain it through the wiki you introduced in workshop, not all players will check the wiki specifically for one or two materials. Looking forward to your reply. :)
Kaibyo  [author] 26 Sep, 2024 @ 1:12pm
@Dudeknightz Sorry that AE messes with Frackin Universe, Natural Stone, Natural Stone+Liquid Interactions, and mods like Tiny Stations! Thank you for the kind words.
Dudeknightz 26 Sep, 2024 @ 5:11am
Finally, an overhaul that DOESN'T mess with my mods! (Not counting Incompatibility)

@Kaibyo Thank you very much!:steamhappy:
Kaibyo  [author] 7 Aug, 2024 @ 9:38pm
@Hyper Bakana! Absolutely you can. Be sure to comment the link to the submissions, so that people can be pointed in the correct direction for the fixes.

@Kaibyo ... After a few minutes of work, I succeeded in making Aetherium Engine compatible with Extended GUI. I was wondering if you could allow me to upload these two compatible patches? Because Many Tabs Compatible Patch graphics assets come from this mod.
Hyper Bakana! (stranger1-5) 6 Aug, 2024 @ 3:36am
@Kaibyo ......After I put the original lblDyeTab back in Spinning Wheel (which is currently just a blank placeholder while the Aetherium Engine is loaded), I finally managed to make the mod compatible with many tabs. I'll try again later to make this mod compatible with Extended GUI.
:)
Hyper Bakana! (stranger1-5) 29 Jul, 2024 @ 1:43am
@Kaibyo ......I'm trying to make a compatibility patch between this mod and Many Tabs by myself, and it works well at Inventor's Table and other crafting stations that require compatibility, except Spinning Wheel. There is no way to make Spinning Wheel compatible with Many Tabs directly using the methods provided by v6. The reason may be that dyes originally made at Spinning Wheel are diverted to other crafting stations.
Kaibyo  [author] 23 Jul, 2024 @ 7:58pm
@Hyper Bakana! I'll be sure to look into that issue with the tabs, but it's likely the same issue that Aetherium Engine has with Extended UI. I've honestly considered getting rid of the extra tabs; however, doing so would clutter the hand crafting menu with all my new recipes (among some other changes to other tabs).
Hyper Bakana! (stranger1-5) 15 Jul, 2024 @ 9:33am
Hello, it seems like that Aetherium Engine is incompatible with Many Tabs. The reason may be the /windowconfig in this mod. (Sorry for my poor English)

Patch notes for 1.1.4.5:
-Changed the male and female Corbeau pain sounds
-Added a Cherrybomb explosive
-Patched the Bomb to not "delete" blocks
-Patched the Bomb to teach the Cherrybomb recipe
-Fixed an issue with the Apex mission treasures that was causing crashes
Kaibyo  [author] 23 Jun, 2024 @ 12:25am
I'll look into it ASAP. Work on the wiki has been dominating most of my free time.
tigerfestival1988 21 Jun, 2024 @ 2:57pm
One of two of the treasure pools in the mod is the cause of the issue, the Apex Mission Treasure Pool and the Space Treasure Pool. Upon removing both of them, I'm able to beam into the Starforge instance world without issue. I hope you can fix the Treasure Pools soon.
tigerfestival1988 21 Jun, 2024 @ 1:41am
Anyway I hope you fix this soon. I really like your mod, but I don't want to give up Starforge either.
tigerfestival1988 21 Jun, 2024 @ 1:21am
Looking into my log here is the main error that pops up that's causing this Caused by: (TreasureException) Unknown treasure pool 'processor' I attempted pastebin, but I exceeded the text limit, so I brought the main error here instead.
tigerfestival1988 21 Jun, 2024 @ 1:17am
Hey I dropped in to inform you that your mod is incompatible with Starforge, due to how one the processors in the treasure pool, missing brackets. Upon accepting the first mission from Starforge, you get beamed back to it's outpost instead of the instance world you're supposed to beam to.
tigerfestival1988 26 May, 2024 @ 10:33pm
Noice!

Patch log (2024-05-026):
-The Aetherium Engine wiki is now up on Miraheze, but it is largely unfinished
-Much work on the wiki is done for the Blast Smelter, and the Portable Centrifuge extraction list is growing
-The T-Square throwables have been moved to the throwables tab instead of the weapons tab
-The Rindler Accretor's sound range and decibels have been lowered
tigerfestival1988 8 May, 2024 @ 6:55pm
Thanks for the info, I hope that's the kind of info that will appear as soon as the wiki is up. Let me know when the wiki is up.
Kaibyo  [author] 8 May, 2024 @ 6:15pm
@tigerfestival1988 Plant oil can be obtained from plant materials (vines, seeds, various vegetation, etc) in the Centrifuge. Silica can be obtained silicates (sand, crystals, quartz, marble, etc) in the sifters and the rock grinder. Vanadium can be obtained from carbon-heavy materials (oil, tar, obsidian, iron, blaststone, grassy rock) from the centrifuge and rock grinder.

I'm working on getting a wiki on Miraheze (like FU has), but Miraheze has not approved my request for a URL yet.
tigerfestival1988 5 May, 2024 @ 9:43pm
@Kaibyo well I hope you do soon, because I want to like the mod and give it a shot since I recently dropped Frackin Universe, but this mod is really confusing, like for instance I have no idea where or how to get plant oil, or Vanada or Silica and without a wiki or guide, I'm left in the dark with no direction, so I just admin to bypass these obstacles.
Kaibyo  [author] 5 May, 2024 @ 7:56pm
@tigerfestival1988 Funny you mention that. I've considered making a wiki of a sort in game, as well as via the browser actually. ^ω^
tigerfestival1988 5 May, 2024 @ 1:14pm
@Kaibyo, this mod needs a guide or a wiki of some kind. Too much stuff is locked behind materials, that I have no idea where or how to obtain.
Kaibyo  [author] 5 May, 2024 @ 12:48pm
@tigerfestival1988 You can learn how to craft dicyanoacetylene by picking up plant oil (or carbon).
Kaibyo  [author] 5 May, 2024 @ 5:11am
@tigerfestival1988 I'll look into it
tigerfestival1988 2 May, 2024 @ 11:54pm
The dicyanoacetylene isn't appearing on the furnace unless I admin.

Patch log (2024-05-003):
-The Infisupri pick axe and drill have been moved from the Replicator to the Agricultural Station. A beta tester suggested they make more sense being crafted there with the other mining and spelunking tools.
Tenet 22 Feb, 2024 @ 11:35am
about fu compatibility: its enough if u make just id compatibilty(no same id) and prevent crash. balance? ha. WHO NEEDS THIS ANYWAY

Patch log (2024-02-018):
-Planetary errors involving the fractal biome should be fixed.
-Ursa Miner now sells platinum bars after beating the Hylotl quest, making their acquisition easier.
Kaibyo  [author] 22 Dec, 2023 @ 3:34pm
Patch log (2023-12-022):
-All gems introduced in Aetherium Engine have been given an AE prefix (AEopal, AEamethyst, etc) to help differentiate from other mods that also add gems (like Avali Plus). I apologize for the sudden influx of PGI and errors that may come with this update.
Kaibyo  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 10:18pm
@Debarro Yes. Aetherium Engine is still being worked on. The most up to date version shall be uploaded within the next week or two. In that version, I will have added, changed, and fixed a number of things. Rest assured, AE isn't dead. ^ω^
Debarro 7 May, 2023 @ 8:40am
ive noticed this hasnt been updated in a while, is it still being worked on?
1100Ross 10 Feb, 2023 @ 8:42pm
Please Ashurak post more pictures. As @tigerfestival1988 said this encourages people to download more. And when the mod is good like in your case this is essential. You can feel that it was made with love and care. Congratulations and continue with the mod.
