Precision Placement [DEPRECATED]

Opis
This mod is now obsolete. base game now basically has it

As of Signals update, this mod breaks armor block placement around subgrids.

THIS DOESN'T MAKE COMPOUND BLOCKS, THIS IS FOR SUBGRIDS

This mod modifies all blocks to have the "UseModelIntersection" tag in order to allow precision placement of blocks on a subgrid. This makes it so blocks uses its collision instead of bounding box to place blocks

What this mod does:
adds the "UseModelIntersection=true" tag to all block definitions (including other mods)
allow block placement using collisions instead of block space for inter-grid block placement

What this mod doesn't do:
place blocks into the same block space in the same grid (ie; compound blocks)
just to reiterate, this doesn't make it possible to place blocks of the same grid inside each other

LIMITATIONS:
suspensions will still not place its wheel in a very tight space; this is because the add wheel function of suspensions uses a different way to detect if a block can be placed
Vanilla armor blocks are unaffected because of its dynamic collision

NOTES:
Special Thanks to Digi for basically handing me the script

i love the mod

All the people who said this should be base game really underestimated keen. Not only did add limited precision placement, but in doing so they broke the mods that had less limited precision placement.

I agree, that would be really nice. I've not modded SE much, so i don't know if its possible, and if so, how easy it would be.

This mod could use an update so it only affects modded blocks. MODDED blocks cannot be placed down anymore in right spaces when this mod is not in use, but having this mod active allows that placement, but instead, vanilla blocks cannot be placed down anymore. It's really odd how they've broken this so much.
It's just topsy-turvy.
Or, a new mod that ONLY applies to modded blocks, and do not affect vanilla blocks.

This was a great mod while it lasted, thanks

Yeah, vanilla doesn't let me place thin armor blocks between armor sections that are connected by hinges, not always. Specifically, mod armor that is really thin to cover a REALLY thin gap.

long story short

update 1.203 introduced a keen brand PP (not the same method i used) into base SE
update 1.204 broke it for non-armor blocks (armor block placement was actually tightened in 1.204)

i just did some tests with vanilla versions 1.203.6 and 1.204 (live).

subgrid placement of non-armor blocks have returned to being restricted around subgrids
