FYI: You can optimize this down to only 1 logic component, by removing the 'not' component and just manually inverting the lower sensor's output values (True:0 False:1) :captainsmooth:

In your own stuff, thanking others and linking is always possible, especially if it is stuff that has been made for others to use.

Hi! I just posted my first sub onto the workshop. I used your ducts in the sub and wanted to know if you wanted me to give you thanks and a link to your mod

Useful, so you can see what's out there without having to go through all the possible submarines to see what might be out there.

I just use two variations on this where its either one detector reverse below the duct so it is open until the water level in the room below is flooded to a certain level, or a detector above and below with the below reversed and both connected to an and gate, similarly you can place the bottom sensor to the max flooding of the below compartments.

there's a different version of this that's a signal check and a minus component set to +/-9999999

@Bolt-action Jack its mostly and aesthetic design choice to have them close. along with that theres a direct vision difference some sub builders take into account.

I've always just left the vent default open, and had one sensor on the bottom to close it if it sensed water below. Is there some advantage to this setup?
