Description
For version 1.3
My take on the iconic B-24 Liberator.
It's an approximation, definitely not a 1:1 replica. This is quite an early build of mine so yes I'm aware of the many rough spots. :)

It now carries a more realistic payload of 16 500 lb bombs.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down Arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right Arrow: Roll.
Space: Parking brake.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.
Hold X/Invert steering: Bomb bay doors.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Release bombs. See below.
PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary (with Alt): Fire in engine one.
B/Beacon: Fire in engine two.
L/Headlights: Fire in engine three.
K/Hazard light: Fire in engine four.
I can't stop the engines since the plane won't fly with lopsided engines but you get a lot of smoke and some flames (as in orange smoke) for RP purposes.

C: Switch camera. 1 Front turret, 2 bomb sight, 3 ball turret
Machine guns: Controlled from nearby seats with WASD and Fire action 1.

- To be able to play solo the bombs are released from pilot's seat. They are released in sequence and it takes about 2 seconds. A green lamp will light up in the cockpit when all have been released.

- I had to make the front turret remote controlled because of lack of space. It's controlled from the seat behind the bomber's seat.

- The ball turret is also remote controlled from the centre seat just in front of it.
Use K/Hazard lights from this seat to lower/raise the turret. It can only be done when guns are facing backwards as indicated by the left red/green orientation lights visible from the seat and from the turret camera.
Once the turret is lowered the warning lights to the right of the orientation lights and in the cockpit turns red, indicating that landing should be avoided if possible.
To retract the turret get guns horisontal-ish and turn until orientation light is green (if the guns are tilted downwards a lot the sensor may pick up the turret itself and cause a false green light). The easiest way to retract turret is to press K again and then turn the turret until it starts moving.

Note!
Since this is BR things released by detonators do not always just fall straight down and sometimes the momentum imbued by the detonator makes the bomb fly any which way and they occasionally get stuck in the wall. There's nothing I can do about that since it's sadly a "feature" of the game.

Have fun! :)

And it actually seems like the Workshop has actually published the update without a three day delay! Wow! :D

It should be a bit better now. It's still a bit nose heavy with the bombs under 300 kph but behaves better without the bombs and above 300 kph with them. At least for me.

I'll see what I can do. The rather shite aerodynamics in 1.3 makes it very hard to get a plane like this balanced both with and without the bombs onboard and at different speeds, but I'll try to tweak it a bit better in the next few days.
