Years after the battle, the river still runs red with blood. Many fell, including the innocent, the young, and the old – people who were just in the way.

The memorial stands tall; on one side, the Lady. She lights the way for the souls of the dead, and is the focus of your mourning. On the other, the Commander who laid down his life to ensure as many of the innocent escaped as possible when all was lost. Old soldiers come to the Commander to pay their penance; many lay their helmets down with him as a symbol of their retirement from war and their devotion to a peaceful future.

At night, some say the spirits of the dead dance amongst the graves. As graves become forgotten, their lights fade.

Except one.

She will never be forgotten.
