Description
"Time for some field testing!" ~ Sam Stone probably...

This re-release was more or less out of necessity since I decided to do some file organization and ended up losing the original files (good job me). Anyways, the goal here is to provide better synergy between the XL2 Laser and Death Ray by making the Death Ray less OP and having to rely on stored heat built by shooting the primary fire.

List O' Changes (XL2 Laser):

- Uses SM version of the laser gun & death ray as a base
- Heat capacity reduced from 50 to 25
- Heat capacity drops as soon as you stop shooting
- Heat up sound starts a bit sooner
- Now requires Neiser's laser model mod
- No min/max damage, every shot does 40
- New Netricsa tip!
- Death Ray can only be fired if heat meter is full
- Ammo received from weapon pickup increased from 20 to 100

List O' Changes (Death Ray):

- Damage reduced from 60 to 40
- Ammo consumption reduced from 2 to 1
- Damage radius increased from 1 to 1.5
- Range reduced from 150 to 65
- Netricsa and Pickup Name changed to Sirian Power Gun (nice Next Encounter reference there buddy, lol)
- Ammo received from upgrade pickup increased from 5 to 50
- New Netricsa description!

Tips & Tricks:

- Shoot lasers to build heat and pick off targets outside the Death Ray's effective range
- The Death Ray can shield against incoming Reptiloid Fireballs and enemy Rockets, but most other attacks will need to be dodged
- Shoot lasers to keep the Death Ray "spooled up" during high stakes combat encounters, but be mindful of your ammo

This is one of my oldest weapon reworks but oddly still the one I'm most proud of, hopefully you will find some use out of it.
