Infinite Storage
-Build Menu: Misc
-Size: 1x1
-Cost: 100 Metallic + 4 components
-Research: Multi Analyzer and Infinite Storage
-Stores: Everything except food
-Power: 1 W per stored kg - this can be adjusted in Options-Mod Settings-Infinite Storage

Textile Storage
-Build Menu: Misc
-Size: 1x1
-Cost: 50 wood/stone/steel
-Stores: Textiles

Body Part Storage
-Build Menu: Misc
-Size: 1x1
-Cost: 50 wood/stone/steel
-Stores: Body Parts and Medicines

Silver Storage
-Build Menu: Misc
-Size: 1x1
-Cost: 50 wood/stone/steel
-Stores: Silver

Safe for existing saves. For those using Body Part and/or Textile Storage see the instructions below for how to do it.

Infinite Storage requires energy to compress and make available the stored items. The amount of energy required increases linearly as the weight stored increases. If Infinite Storage is not powered, nothing can be added or removed from it. For that reason it may not be a bad idea to keep some extra components, steel, and wood in an out-of-the-way stockpile.

I have decided that Infinite Storage will not break down - in case all components are stored within as that would suck.

There are two 'specialty' storage units: Body Parts and Textiles. These units are capable of storing Body Parts and Medicine and Leather/Wool without energy.

Other Storage Type Mods:
-Weapon Storage
-Apparel Storage (Change Dresser)

Supports:
-Save Storage and Outfit Settings
-Expanded Prosthetics and Organ Engineering (EPOE)
-A Dog Said
-Fast regen
-While You're Up - The option "Optimize hauling to construction" will need to be disabled.
This mod should support/hold all items added by other mods.
- Common Sense - Disable the option for pawns to haul all the materials to craft

Unsupported:
-Architect Sense - When trying to build with stored stuff it'll say no materials were found
-Industrial Rollers - Pullers will not be able to remove items
-Smart Medicine - Prevents doctors from getting medicine out of storage before tending to wounds. Operations will work correctly
- Best Mix

Troubleshooting:
- Common Sense mod - disable the third checkbox under “Opportunistic Jobs” (the one about hauling ingredients for a bill to stockpile).

- NOTE WHEN DOWNLOADING THIS MOD -

you have to disable auto collect as it is BROKEN! if you leave it on it will eat your power like a old gas guzzler. not turning it off will result in the storage box picking up nothing and then proceeding to drain all your power (happened to me twice.)

ALSO don't worry as auto collect is a feature which is not needed and can be accessed thru Mod Options.

Hello, first, nice work with the mod, but i got a problem i cant solve.
My Dudes seems to be stuck at the Box and dont continue to work, even if theres enough to store. Sometimes they start other tasks, but ends up staying close to the Box, energyconsupmtions was set to 0, so i dont know what else to do >.> someone an idea?

Hey guys, here to share my solution to the game losing fps and pawns freezing with Infinite Storage box. Go to options in the game menu, then mod options, then click on infinite storage. Configure "Energy Factor" to 0 instead of 1. The freeze is connected to the storage running out of energy to use, so disabling energy use solves the issue.

@SlayersGod The mod is published here and elsewhere, I use Discord so users that have the game via another provider than steam also can contact me about it.
Perhaps think things through before posting next time.

@Mlie if you want to only publish it in one place that is your choice. But; I play on steam. I download this mod on steam. This clearly seems easiest. So; No. You change. Or just don't fix it and say so.
