NOTICE TO OPERATORS
This Locomotive is limited by diesel electric configuration resulting in lower torque than most locomotives but this can easily be overcome by using multiple locomotives slaved to a main loco.

Startup
The locomotive comes pre-configured and ready to drive, just board the cabin and turn the engine start key. The engine will spool and rev to idle on its own. To shut down the engine, disengage the fuel valve under the protected button guard and wait for the engine to use up the last of its fuel in the pipes.

DESCRIPTION:
The Type 8 Liao is a variant of the Type 8 Shoji Railway Shunter. Built to facilitate access to passenger cars via a hooded access tunnel built into the back of the locomotive. Little to nothing about the Liao is different from the Shoji except the removal of the jump seat from the cab.

The top speed of the locomotive can be hit hard by heavy cargo's but the Master/slaving allows this problem to be overcome by combining locomotives. Among other features of the Type 8 include cable anchors for crane lift, a radio handset, fire-extinguisher and storage space for personal tools.
