The Mangler with it's 4 Mining Laser Turrets is a highly capable Asteroid Mining Monster, the only thing holding it back from being flown alone is that it has no cargo bay, in turn the Mangler is meant to be flown with a second ship, preferably one that makes up for the Mangler's rather lacking Cargo capacity. The Mangler was first put into use after the Star Imperium had finished Construction of one of their first major Capital cities and needed many more Resources for future Construction projects. The Mangler's ability to mine ore in such a quick manner therefore make it the best bang for your buck coming it at roughly 110k Credits only.
