This mod make goblins to use their own unique language, full of slang and humor. It includes translations for common words and phrases that as a player you could recognize, but with a goblin twist that adds plenty of character.

@Unfortunate - thanks :-)

Regarding non-native speakers, the disclaimer is more about cases when I could introduce unwanted connotations.
For an example of the issue in an obvious case: nicknames (diminutive) for Richard, I could use "Rick," "Ricky," or "Dick," etc. As in my native language, there would be no double meaning for these names, but in English, it is not all the same despite being proper nicknames. Choosing one version over another could introduce unwanted double-meaning. So, I assume there are many words that, for native speakers, have some broader meaning than literal ones (mainly when used in slang). I would appreciate feedback if you notice cases where the translation instead of smile brings odd connotations.

Non-native English speaking makes the translations more fun! Goblins aren't native English speakers either.:urist:

the fact that you're non native means your fictional language is more interesting. don't try to be more like english, you're good enough as your own thing.

It's great to see a bit of an overhaul to goblin names! It adds a lot more flavor to my child snatchers Tourists :)
