Aesir - Achievement Friendly

Description
Achievement friendly version of Aesir https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2934163745 It also replaces one of the humanoid portraits. It does not change the checksum, so should work with achievements.

2/21: Mod should now be compatible with Undying - Achievement friendly mod.

You might wanna look at the eyes on the women, they're a bit... erm... off.

Unfortunately to make an achievement friendly version of a mod it has to overwrite one of the base portrait files. I was able to get Aesir and Undying working together since I was able to overwrite 2 different files. Stellar Legions has to overwrite just about all the portrait files since it has so many portraits. Unfortunately that one has to be used alone.

And before I forget, congrats on the mods. they are wonderful!

not only the Aesir but the Undying also does not appear in the options.

this mod doesn't work together with your other mod Stellar Legions - Achievement Friendly? I used it now and Aesir does not appear in the options to choose from.

YoshidaHe8ro must have found a solution because the following 2 achievement-compatible mods in their Workshop replace humanoids without stepping on one another:
- "Add Portraits : Military Female with Achievements"
- "Add Portraits : Steampunk with Achievements"
I thought to mention it as YoshidaHe8ro's seems a similar effort as you're doing here, and their mods replace different humanoid portraits than yours.
Dunno if this is helpful, as I have no idea about modding. But he did it using 1 mod for each race as was your intention.

You could also make a compatibility patch that just replaces the 09_humanoids.txt file with one that changes both portraits, but doesn't contain any of the actual portraits.

@Dragatus Good point. At least then they wouldn't conflict with my own mods. Combining them into the same mod and overwriting two different portraits would be another option I suppose, though I like to keep the option for people to only have one or the other if they want.
