Description
Jeff Jarrett has been wrestling since the mid-80's, initially working for his father's Continental Wrestling Association. Jarrett often worked for his father's promotions, including the USWA, until signing with WWF in 1993.

Jarrett portrayed a wrestling country music singer during his first WWF run and often spelled out his full name (J-E-Double-F, J-A-Double-R, E-Double-T!) during promos. Jarrett won the Intercontinental Title before moving on to WCW in 1996.

Jarrett bounced between WCW and WWF over the next few years, adding a stint with the Four Horsemen in WCW and more IC Title runs in WWF.

When Jarrett returned again to WCW in late 1999, he propelled quickly to the top of the card and became a major player in the WCW World Heavyweight Title scene. Double J held the big gold belt four times.

When WCW closed, Jarrett founded TNA, then an NWA affiliate, alongside his father, with Jeff serving also as a main event star. Jarrett was one of the faces of TNA for over a decade, and he captured the NWA World Heavyweight Title six times.

When Jarrett lost power in TNA, he founded another company Global Force Wrestling, which would later be acquired by TNA.

Jarrett returned to WWE as a producer in 2019, and he competed in the 2019 Royal Rumble. Jarrett then began an on-screen feud with Elias.
