Description
"On the eve of the 9th turning of the false moon, the Oracle of the Sacred Plaques enquired why it was that the Coatls, sacred children of Tepok, looked more like Parrots than Serpents. Well, the truth is that Huanchi had indulged in a little too much of the Itxi Grub that night, and didn't get them right when we were designing fauna the first time, so he was forbidden from doing anything with the skinks, saurus or Chotec forbid, the slann... Look, whatever, I've tweaked the spawning pools so that they come out looking like snakes now. What do you mean "He's asking why they spawn from spawning pools now?" How should I know? Just make something up!"

What is this?

A graphical mod that makes Coatls look more like Snakes!
Yes, the head is taken from the hydra, but don't worry, it grew back. Enormous thanks to Loremaster of Sotek for the idea and inspiration to get this made!

  • Will not fix Coatls being bad in melee
  • Will not fix Coatls' incompatibility with any modern biological taxonomy
  • Will not in any way change any stats for Coatls
  • WILL fix Coatls being an unholy forbidden union between your friend's pet corn snake and your other friend's pet parrot. (Your friends have cool pets. You should hang out with them more. Call them sometime.)
  • Should be compatible with anything that doesn't also alter Coatl variantmeshdefinitions or wh_variantmodels. Yes, that includes SFO, Radious, and any other big overhauls.

Why is this called Loreful Lizards II?

Because Loreful Lizards returns!

Less grandiose than it's predecessor for Warhammer II, as a result of me now having to hold down a job, LL2 will for now be a slowly growing collection of smaller, intercompatible mods that can be combined in one collection, with the ultimate aim of giving you the best interpretation of Lizardmen that the sleep-addled minds of the Slann can create.

At some indeterminable point in the future, when the Great Plan allows, I shall combine all of these into a single large modpack that gives you the full Lizardmen experience. Until then, enjoy this offering and hopefully you'll see more soon!

Looks pretty good but I really feel like it'd look better without the dragon "ears", and maybe a helmet like its usually depicted having in artwork.

Very nice. Much closer to what I think of as a Coatl than the Tzeentchian thing CA gave us.
