"A Monument To Man's Arrogance"

Hello! Today, I bring you probably my biggest map yet, Valley Of The Sun! This map is a 1:3 scale version of the Phoenix, Arizona metro area, including numerous suburbs and landforms, from rivers and neighborhood lakes to big mountains, this map has it all! This map was made as a paid commission by naut, so be sure to thank them on the creation of this as well, as the map wouldn't exist without their help and input!

Map Information
This map DOES NOT require any DLC. It DOES require, however, a couple of subscriptions to custom items. I didn't go too overboard but there's still a few to note. This includes the Tree Anarchy mod since there's over 300k trees here.

There's very numerous road connections, 2 rail connections, and 4 plane connections. The starting tile is centered over Downtown Phoenix, with the Salt River going through the tile. Sky Harbor Airport is nearby, as well as multiple suburbs such as Glendale, Scottsdale, and Tempe. Interstates 10 and 17 are included, as well as Highways 51, 60, 101, 143, and a large chunk of 202. The rail connections are on the western edge of the map.

There is also a THEME MIX that I made for this map (hopefully it works) which includes the Phoenix theme by E6GSY, Semi Desert theme by Avanya, and the Peruvian Pampas theme by Random5. Please let me know if anything is working incorrectly or anything like that since this is my first time making a theme mix for a map.

Lastly, there's multiple deposits of ore, oil, and fertile land around the map so this should be a good map for resources as well.

Not much else to add except A HUGE THANK YOU to naut for commissioning this map, and to everyone else for supporting my work to the point where I'm actually able to get paid doing something I love! It means the world to me knowing that people are enjoying my maps, and I'm hoping to create even more maps and stuff for this game for people to enjoy! Hello, I'm having the same issue. Loads to 75% and then gets stuck. I already downloaded whole collection. I am getting a warning when I try to load the map: "The custom map theme used by this map or save is missing. A default map theme will be used instead." Hope this can be resolved, would love to use this map as it looks amazing.

@Swatman @Dad @marianasays looks like I kinda made a vital mistake, I forgot to list the proper tree anarchy mod in the collection... if y'all aren't already, please make sure to subscribe to everything and try again if possible and let me know how it goes!

with how widespread the problem seems to be, i'm trying to work with other map and mod creators to see what might be up, so for the moment all i can really suggest is make sure you're subbed to everything as listed in the one click collection or on the sidebar list i just created

@Dad that is very strange... i'm not sure what might be causing that especially since i know the map is able to work for at least the person i made the map for... for right now my best guess would be a dlc check in case if for some unexplainable reason it might require some. Really sorry about this :(

Cannot get it to load past 75%. Tried several variations of the Tree Anarchy mods too. Super sad because I've wanted this map for years lol

@usernamessuck yeah ngl i'll admit a better base theme may have fit better, but you can always choose a theme that you feel works better :steamhappy::steamthumbsup: although i also don't believe i had an lut active during screenshots so that probably has a bit to do with it looking dull

pretty sure the ground in phoenix isnt grey but okay
