Vestiges

Description
Upon death, you will leave a temporary remnant for other players to find.

[github.com]

WARNING:

Upon death, your current room and region will be accessible via a public spreadsheet. Do not use this mod if you are working on a custom region mod and don't wish to leak any info!

So, what exactly does this mod do?

Well upon death or being grabbed by a lizard, a modified firefly Vestige is created at your current location and through a very advanced system called uh... Google Forms and Google Sheets, your new Vestige will be uploaded and then become accessible to everyone else (within half an hour) for up to a month! (The default lifespan is 4 days)

I got the idea of abusing Google Forms and Sheets a year ago from a small game called Radio Bubbles[ash-k.itch.io].

Unfortunately I may have wiped my windows install while trying to save my main setup so it will probably be a while before I can resume development on this mod.
I have added that request to issues page on github so whenever that happens I should be reminded of your request.

if it's not a bother, i would like an option for all vestiges to be the same color, preferably red or white.

Well, the vestiges aren't static either, so the unpredictability is at least somewhat lifted

Huh, kinda reminds me of the bloodstains from the soulsborne games. always a delight and a terror to see, but not as useful since rainworld doesn't have predictable spawns...
