Tooltip Overhaul Complete

Description
  • Adds/Replaces color coding to Combat and Camping Skill tooltips while maintaining all other vanilla tooltip color codes.
  • Applies additional color coding to various UI elements (e.g. Hero and Resolve Level names)
  • Fixes inconsistencies in Combat and Camping Skill tooltips and implements changes made by Butcher's Circus, e.g., Stress Skills is now Stress Relief, etc.
  • Breaks Combat and Camping Skill effects onto separate lines (replacing vanilla "/" separation method)

Wonderful to hear! I've taken a bit of a break, but planning to revisit it soon, and I have the same modlist as before. I'll be sure to check it out with your mod active and see what I can see as far as any descriptions needing clarifying.

Hey man, better late than never I suppose! I got around to making those changes. Should be mostly in line with Tooltip Consistency now. I scoured the Butcher's Circus tooltips and made relevant changes.
If you even still play the game, could you tell me what quirk descriptions need clarifying?

Gotcha, I appreciate the clarification.

If you happen to go through and clean up the remaining text discrepancies in the same manner as Void's Tooltips does, you'll have one very happy subscriber that will be using your tooltips exclusively!

Hmm. The only way might be to do it manually, which is essentially writing your own mod lol. I didn't actually use Void's mod as a reference when making this, so it seems like I may have missed some changes that Butcher's Circus made? I'll have a look and see what I've missed and make the appropriate changes.

@trashcanhands - LOVE this. The coherence and clarity is awesome, and what the game needed.

However, I do see a quirk that is hampering: this doesn't seem to utilize all the text changes from Void's Tooltip Consistency mod (which in the comments below, you say it does). Is it perhaps based on an older version of Tooltip Consistency? For example, latest Tooltip Consistency shows "Stress Healing" as "Stress Relief", and "Decrease Stress by X" as simply "Stress -X". Yours lacks the latter, and also seems to revert some clarified quirk descriptions.

Is there a way I can merge your color and skill organizations with Void's Tooltip Consistency? Even placing your mod under theirs still seems to result in not getting the Consistency text.

Id have to take a look at the code again to remember how it alters the vanilla. I have a poor memory. Id gladly add compatibility for any mods you would like though!

Presumably this is incompatible with mods that modify the skills for vanilla classes?

This one makes the same changes as that one, as well as adding new color coding and replacing the '/' separators (like DMG/ACC/CRIT) and breaking them onto separate lines.
