**Update (Apr. 17th, 2023)!**

- Decreased duration of strike. (Decreased delay between strikes by half)

**Update (Mar. 31st, 2023)!**

- Increased size of initial targeting ring to more closely match the size of overall strike
- Slightly altered distribution of strikes to better damage targets toward edge of strike

**Update (Mar. 15th, 2023)!**

- Altered distribution of strikes to be more evenly distributed. (Strikes naturally tend to have fewer instances the further out from the epicentre they are. With this update, more strikes will impact the outermost area than before - with a more even coverage overall.)
- Slightly increased radius of strike from 180m to 200m
- Increased number of strikes from 100 to 120

- I was able to find the parameters for increasing the radius of the strike ring reticles. As a result, the scale of the rings has been increased to closely reflect the strike's radius. (Hooray!!)

Increases airstrike radius; increases number of strikes; and increases radius of each strike.

The airstrike felt too small to be useful, as it served seemingly no purpose except for demolishing buildings. With the increased radius and strike coverage of this new version, airstrikes are now much better at hitting a larger area where 'mechs might be; allowing the ability to be viable for assassination missions, warzone missions, and beachheads - if not more.

Specifications:
- Radius has increased from 80m to 200m
- Number of strikes has increased from 60 to 120
- Radius of each strike has increased from 30m to 45m

- Delay between strikes has been decreased from between 0.1 and 0.2 seconds, to between 0.05 and 0.1 seconds

- Targeting rings have had visibility increased, as they appeared a bit too dim at times
- Targeting ring sizes have been increased to closely reflect the new radius of strike

Due to the new, increased size of the strike, be careful when you use this! Also, it can be useful to order your lance to a specific location so that they don't get caught in the crossfire.

@mitissa515 yeah I do think maybe the radius could be toned down a tad, or perhaps made customizatble with modoptions. It's so big it can be hard to use on demand since you often need to tell your lance AIs to clear the zone. On the upside it practically lets you skip destruction/scorched earth missions, which is nice because I hate those mission types.

DL'd March 2024 and still works perfectly with any expansion. The description isn't kidding when it says it expanded the nuke-zone. Recommend NOT using this within' 600 feet of target... it's THAT big. Included in the size is also more damage so you can drop a light or medium mech in 1 strike, Heavies lose the majority of their armor (Red)

@wjayson1981 But it is with this mod? I've seen it wipe entire Assassinate Target groups. It can still whiff and do minor damage sometimes, but that's fine it would stupid if this was just a super weapon.

Please make the airstrike deadly to enemy mechs. Starfighter, teledyne or aerodyne fighters in 31st century would carry precision guided missiles with warheads few times greater than our present air to ground armament.

Nice little mod. I had stopped even buying airstrikes since they did nothing but tickle enemies even with a perfectly timed drop. The mod version actually feels worth giving up salvage/c-bills for.
