History:

The Central of Georgia Railroad was a regional carrier sprawling through the heart of Georgia. Headquartered in Macon, its 1900-mile network shot over to Macon then sprawled northwards to Atlanta and Chattanooga, west to Columbus, Birmingham, and Montgomery.
