And now we can actually beat this guy senseless and leave him spitting teeth and pissing blood.

Not only because of what he did to Nahida, but also because, if he got what he was after, being able to control knowledge itself, what do you think he would use that for? Just to know everything about everything? Or to try and control other people who he sees as "beneath him" (which would likely be everyone), with such power?
