When his parents' plane crash occurred, Alex was abroad to some fancy ski resort with some friends. Up to that moment, his folks were the main shareholders of a medium-level enterprise and provided him with a steady income which allowed for a worry-free shallow lifestyle. Upon his return to the big city, a big pile of paperwork was placed before him, and he duly signed where it said "Signature". The next morning he found out that he had willingly transferred all his shares over to the other members of the board in exchange for an average lifetime stipend. In despair, he took the wheel of his latest bat mobile/car and crashed it in the lobby of his family's former company. A few years later, a reckless full-time thug, he almost managed to get himself killed in a standoff and ended up in Valledupar. Now he's experiencing a crash of his own: "c'est la vie".
