Description
AH-1S

History

The Bell AH-1 Cobra is a single-engined attack helicopter developed and manufactured by the American rotorcraft manufacturer Bell Helicopter. A member of the prolific Huey family, the AH-1 is also referred to as the HueyCobra or Snake. The AH-1 was rapidly developed as an interim gunship in response to the United States Army's needs in the Vietnam War. It used the same engine, transmission and rotor system of the Bell UH-1 Iroquois, which had already proven itself to be a capable platform during the conflict, but paired it with a redesigned narrow fuselage among other features. The Bell AH-1 Cobra is a dedicated attack helicopter, built to provide close air support and to escort friendly troop transports.

How to fly the AH-1S

To enter the Pilots seat, there is a button to open the canopy on the left of the Helicopter, once you are in, turn on your fuel pumps, throttle to max, then hold the starter button until you reach 3 RPS, let go of the starter button, and wait until you reach 5 RPS, you should be able to take off now. For a smother takeoff, wait until you reach 6 RPS, then trim your yaw to 0.3 Right. The rest is self explainable, lighting and interior decoration is on the right side of the cockpit, Engine details and operation is on the left side of the cockpit, and flight information is in the center.
