Simple Gene Rebalance (With Transformations)

Description
A simple rebalance mod for genes that aims to buff the most underwhelming genes to better be able to compete the with the best genes, without breaking the game's balance. Also introduces a few quality of life features. This is a version of another mod that keeps the mudraptor and spineling transformations intact.

The vanilla balance of the genes is very mixed; you have some genes like Hammerhead Matriarch and Crawler that are amazing, some like Moloch and Hammerhead that are solidly decent, and some like Skitter and Mollusc that are absolutely terrible, and with almost no incentive to refine either. It is because of the pathetic state of Skitter and Mollusc genes that this mod even exists.

As of the Treacherous Tides Update, skitter and mollusc genes were buffed officially. This mod should still work, it just buffs them far less than it used to compared to the current version of the vanilla game. (Nov.24.2023)

If you'd like a version of this mod that revamps mudraptor and spineling genes or that only changes Skitter and Mollusc genes, you can install them here:

A text breakdown of the changes is below:
All afflictions tooltips now include numbers showing the range of values
Mudraptor genes' beak bite damage is now 12 instead of 5
Tiger Thresher genes now achieve max results at 90% quality to make achieving 100% oxygen reduction more feasible without having to use two different tiger thresher genes in an advanced gene splicer
Skitter genes now range from 15-75% haste instead of 2-10% 10-60%
Mollusc genes now range from 16-80% vigor instead of 2-10% 10-60%
Mantis genes now increase walking speed by a max of 30% instead of 25%

Compatibility
Modifies Genetic.xml, AfflictionsGeneticMaterial.xml, Humanhusk.xml, and Mudraptorbeak.xml, and will probably only be compatible with mods that do not modify those files or do not modify the same parts of those files that this mod does.

The other version of this mod was briefly tested to be compatible with Genes+ Revived and Expanded

They changed the range to 10-60%, this mod changes them 10-75% and 10-80%, so while vanilla is a lot closer to this mod than what it used to be, it's still different than unmodded

Did this mod become unnecessary, as in the most recent update notes, they made it so skittter and Mollusk better? also I have this weird problem of not finding any genetic material, even with the perk that allows you to find them on creatures.

if i already have simple gene rebalance and I replace this with this would it break

thanks for the bug report, yeah humanhusks were broken
modifying the mudraptor beak required a change to humanhusk.xml, since I was only trying to change the mudraptor beak defined there and nothing else, I left the animations folder path to 'default' which for some reason is the mod directory's animation folder (which doesn't exist) and not barotrauma's
from what i've tested it is now working properly

hey heads up.

i tried to spawn a humanhusk and things broke, it just simply doesnt work, the error blamed "2949910715" which seems to be this.

if im reading the debug right, basically your animations didnt load.

Do I only need this to be subbed or both this and the regular one?

Has anyone tried out this mod with Improved Husks? I know that husk gene is heavily nerfed there so is it compatible with this mod?
