Description
Ever Wanted to just get the dumb genes on day one right out of the gate with no catch? Well now you can! This mod makes all genetic materials worth 1 mk and able to be bought at any outpost so have fun being gods of you own genetics! This mod was made to work in conjunction with my other mod Super Gene Splicer that way you can use every single last gene available. Yes the sprite has been changed to something weird, that is just cosmetic doesn't affect the gameplay. Should be compatible with most mods except those that mess with genes as it is just vanilla genes in this mod.

The mods that are probably responsible are Genes+ Revived and Expanded, and Ancient Genes (More Genes). I originally thought they would not do anything since they added genes as opposed to altering existing ones. But I shall have to test and see if their removal does anything.

Beyond those, the only other one is the AVP-Aliens mod which also adds some genes. However I do not know if this one affects it, since by default it just makes the husk merchant sell the genes from this mod.

In either case, I have further troubleshooting to do.

That would indeed be your problem as I said before this mod is compatible with mods that do not alter genes which adding to the genes definitely alters the gene folder and stuff. Dependent on which mod you are using I might have a submod that is designed for that or I might not again depends on the mod you are using

I had tried it with a new game and didn't see the genes for sale, so its probably another mod that may be interfering with this thing since its pretty basic in its functions. I wonder if it has to do with mods that add new genes.

So just tested it out and the very first merchant I ran to had all of the genes, (i had to go to a different station though to even find a merchant due to DE)

I will redownload it (Dynamic Europa) and test it later to see if it is working or not on my end

As stated in the description it should be compatible with most mods so long as that mod doesn't mess with the genetics or merchants too much. However, just because it *should* be compatible, doesn't mean that it is direkt compatible. Aka, this mod on a basic level should be compatible but there is no hard-coded compatibility switches in it

So it has to be new save game not a mid campaign save, it is for all merchants that are named merchant or general merchant or whatever the name is. Not medical merchant, not engineering one but the basic merchant. If it no longer works that is due to Dynamic Europa having an update that makes my mod no longer compatible to it

The older comments indicated there should be no problem for dynamic europa, so maybe I am thus far unlucky in finding the right merchants.

It is for the base merchant man only, not the other ones

Just to inquire, does this mod grant genes to all merchants or only the merchants who would normally carry genes?
