Report a translation problem
It's a game from my childhood basically and it was pretty much during a time when EA not only actually gave a rats ass about their games being of quality versus quantity (and when they weren't flooding said games with assloads of microtransactions) the sounds being chunky is likely also do to them being from a game that was released during 2002 back when video games again gave a shit about even the minor details like a proper working bolt-action instead of looking for shortcuts like games do nowadays.
