Description
The MI6M2 Flemming is a infantry fighting vehicle apart of the Flemming family of amphibious AFV. the MI6 is a infantry fighting vehicle variant designed to compliment the LT4M1 Flemming light tank and MI5M1 Flemming armored personnel carrier. The family of vehicles will hopefully be a one size fit all solution for Khertland's marine regiments.

The Khertland army had been seeking a proper infantry fighting vehicle for a long while but none of the previous prototypes met requirements and were cancelled. The MI6M2 Flemming became the first successful IFV to enter Khertland army service. The purpose of the IFV is to first and foremost bring infantry safely ashore in a protected platform while also being able to provide direct fire support. Additionally, the IFV can provides anti-infantry capability and suppressive fire in the form of a autocannon which the light tank variant is less capable of. But ultimately, being able to bring infantry along with armored units can significantly enhance situational awareness, and allow the force to navigate otherwise difficult terrain like forests and mountains. Infantry are able to help clear buildings and secure city blocks where traditionally AFVs would struggle to even spot or hit ambushers high up. Khertland recognizes this critical aspect of combined arms warfare, and a IFV is the epitome of close infantry and armor cooperation down to the squad level.

The IFV is armed with the same 57mm autocannon as the Trigon SPAAG. In order to make room for troops at the back, the turret has a mid-hull placement unlike the LT4. The armor is also slightly thinner than the light tank variant but has slightly higher top speed as a result. Despite several changes to the piping and other features, the vehicle share many similar components as the light tank and APC variants.

As common with APCs, the IFV has a dedicated cupola for the dismount commander for good situational awareness even before dismounting. It is considered a critical feature to have to ensure the dismounts understand the threat axis and enemy type being engaged along with available cover. The vehicle crew consists of 4 people whose roles are driver, gunner, loader, and commander. Roughly 8 dismounts can be crammed at the back albeit very tightly. The tight passenger space was the primary criticism for the vehicle.
