Description
"The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't"

Developed during the later stages of the 4th Corporate War, the CM-1 "Longspear" is a modest, generic cruise missile utilizing vanilla parts and lacks any special features. It ain't much, but it does what it is designed to do, even after all this time.

As a painfully generic cruise missile made in a time that's now taught in history books, the Longspear suffers from the lack of any sophisticated technologies, and most importantly, it lacks EHCS integration. The Longspear managed to bid its time all the way to the end of the 5th Corporate War, but now it is actively being phased out for the much more capable and advanced XM-190 "Crosshair" Missile.

Nowadays, the CM-1 is mostly sold to XML-hating hippies and folks too poor to afford better missiles. Production for newer CM-1 models have ceased and we are simply selling our reserve supplies. (seriously though, we have no idea why we made so many of them!)

Specs
  • 8 KM burner range, 1.25 KM Radar track range
  • Fully configurable cruise and approach altitude settings
  • GPS & PN Radar Guidance
  • Armed with a single medium warhead

Installation Instruction
Step 1: Find a suitable hardpoint to mount this weapon (3X3, ideally no obstruction in front or behind.)
Step 2: Move and paste the missile into said hardpoint. The missile needs to be properly aligned with the hardpoint.
Step 3: Wire a composite signal into the vehicle hardpoint. Chanel one sending the target's X coordinate and channel 2 sending the Y coordinate.
Step 4: Tweak altitude settings in the missile as you see fit.
Step 5: Give it a target (either through targetting pods or just a large keypad and map coordinates) and watch the missile do the rest.

Due to this vehicle being an outdated antique, you do not need to read our Terms and Conditions, nor do you need to sign our Non-Compete Agreement. In fact, you are welcomed and encouraged by Vector Dynamics to refit and upgrade the LongSpear to modern standards and release it as your own creation.

That being said... Vector Dynamics is still not responsible for any damage, casualty or loss of resources caused by the use of our products.

Vector Dynamics is also not responsible for any war crimes, human right violations, criminal activities or acts of terrorism caused by the use of our product.
