TopHat's Noongar

Adds the Noongar people, led by Yagan, to the game as a custom civilization. The Noongar are an Aboriginal Australian group hailing from the southwest of Australia. They are notable for their land management techniques, including a type of controlled burn that they call “cold fire.” Yagan, a Noongar warrior, was known as one of the fiercest opponents to the European colonization of Australia.

UNIQUE ABILITY: INHERITANCE OF THE KAARTDIJIN

Repairing pillaged improvements yields a burst of Food in the closest city. When a city grows in Population, units within two tiles gain XP.

UNIQUE UNIT: GIDJIBORYL

Replaces the Spearman. Pays no movement cost to pillage. +1 Movement when beginning its turn on a tile with an animal resource.

UNIQUE IMPROVEMENT: COLD-FIRE GROUNDS

Unlocked at Trapping. Yields +1 Food. Will periodically pillage adjacent land tiles, yielding a burst of Culture when it does so. If the pillaged tile has no resource, a random animal resource will spawn there.
