Vanilla and Combat Extended supported.



75 new weapons and four turrets dating from the early 19th century to the end of the American Civil War. Please see the list below or images for specific items.

Q: CE Compatible?
A: Yes.

Q: Where do I craft the weapons?
A: At the Galore Gunsmith Table (for old weapons) or the Galore Weapon Machining Table (for modern weapons.) These can be found in the Production tab.

Q: Where do I research the weapons?
A: Everything is unlocked via Guns Galore's own research tab.

Q: How do I make the turrets?
A: You have to craft the dismounted variation of the gun first. Yes, you can use the dismounted version as a weapon as well.

Q: What are the compatible mods?
A: There is currently built-in support for Muzzle Flash, Vanilla Weapons Expanded - Heavy Weapons, Enable Oversized Weapons, and of course, Combat Extended.

Hey just had a quick question does the mod not work with the dev build of CE? When I try to load the game with this mod in my list the screen goes black. Any help is appreciated!

Any thoughts on rebalancing the guns for Vanilla combat? I have noticed that many carabines like Maynard or Sharps have 3.20 seconds cooldown while regular Rifle-Muskets like Springfields have 3.40, which is only a minor improvement for a bigger cost.

The cost of these projects makes it completely unnecessary to produce them, and it would be better if the component requirements were removed

Pushed an update, hopefully this should fix the issues with the weapons.

Upon forcing steam to redownload, the errors persist. They aren't just an eyesore, the correspond with guns that cannot manually target or fire at enemies.
Checked with all DLC but Anomaly and dependencies.

when runs 1.5 An error log similar to this appears:
Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.ThingDef named CGF1_MWP_Bullet_54CaliberBall_Pistol found to give to Verse.VerbProperties VerbProperties(Johnson M1836)

I omitted it, but it seems like there are more than 20 similar logs instead of just one log.
(like Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.ThingDef named CGF1_MWP_Bullet_52CaliberBall_Rifle found to give to Verse.VerbProperties VerbProperties(Sharps M1863 Carbine)...)

IDK if this is a problem while playing the game, but this log is quite eyesore.
