SRM: Ammo Module

Description

This mod integrates the Ammo Resource into the Survival Resources Mod

The SRM Core Framework mod is required to implement this mod otherwise it will be broken and the items will fail to work.

The STORMBOW item from the Mana Module requires the Ammo Module (this mod) in order to function as it needs to be crafted with an item from this mod, and it is one of few items that utilize ammo and mana.

in essence, the guns in this mod have a high damage output with limited pool of rounds one must stick up by using raw materials to produce ammo.

when you say does it replace vanilla guns, are you asking did I remove them? or does the functionality give an incentive to use them over vanilla guns?

well, the whole point of the SRM is to make your life in survival harder, not easier, but the value per shot in something like say, a rocket launcher, it can fire 2 or 3 rounds before obliterating a target, sure, but the reloads are expensive to produce.

The energy resource has also been modified to have a slower recharge rate, so its use mana, energy and ammo interchangably

Does it replace vanilla guns tho? so it won't feel cheap to use a infinite projectile weapon in vanilla

so in other words, I have taken steps to avoid any possible conflicts this may cause. so yeah, the only guns that are ammo dependant are the ones in this module.

Vanilla guns are unaffected. I didn't mess with any core files that could possibly impact other mods. I cloned such scripts for compatibility reasons.

Essentially, the guns that use ammo, are the ones in this module which are basically like 5, plus bow and crossbow, and 2 launchers.

does this work for Modded guns or only vanilla guns. will this also make all Gun weapons ammo dependent.

Biased in the sense novakid get a damage bonus when using ammo based guns

There isn't much in the core module. if you sub to that and this mod plus any other mods that others wish to make using the guns as templates this can turn into an extensive gun mod, though biased towards novakid since I added racial bonuses relating to different stats in the whole package (^^,)
