Description
As of now (6/12/2023), all development on this mod will be on hold, indefinitely.
Most songs work, but some don't. There are over 400 songs, and I do not have the hours of time to redownload all 434 songs. Sadly, I cannot just redownload the songs that aren't working, I must download and categorize every song in the mod to get it 100% working again.

Please, if no songs are working, make sure you have downloaded both True Music and Tsar's Common Library 2.0 alongside this mod. Without those two mods, this mod is non-functional. If any songs aren't working after that, simply dispose of the tape as it won't be working again anytime soon. Forgive me for the inconvenience, but I am far too busy to be spending several hours on updating this mod. Thank you for installing it and using it anyway.

Old Description:

This mod adds OVER 400 period accurate metal and hard rock songs that you may listen to in your world in Project Zomboid!

This mod is an add-on for the True Music mod. This mod will not function if you do not have both of the base mods. If you are not already subscribed to the True Music mod or Tsar's Common Library 2.0, please subscribe to both.

There are currently over 430 tracks to listen to! These include songs by bands like Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, KISS, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Motley Crue, Van Halen and many more!

Please do not put this into your modpacks or reupload this mod to the Steam Workshop. It has taken me hours to put together the list of songs and download each one. Instead, feel free to put them in your Mod Collections, which I do appreciate seeing. Thank you!

I'm glad you like the mod. I apologize for the lack of updates and nonworking songs. I just haven't had the time to fix it. Maybe I'll get a chance sometime this year.

For those who are having issues with the Dokken tapes and others-- it is a very easy fix! All you need to do is find the MP3s (which will have to be converted to .OGG file format) and put them in the song library folder located in your mods folder. For whatever reason, the songs are missing from the base installation preventing the songs to play in-game.

Of course, this will only fix the issue on a local level (your computer/client). But it works!

The folder where you want to drop the files will be under Programs Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > workshop > content > (my folder was 108600) > 2954246773 > yourMusic

No problem! I tried including as many songs as I could. It's nearly my entire rock playlist. Sorry about all the broken songs, I don't have much time to fix it lately.

I am so happy to find this, I've been trying to find one that includes (don't fear) the reaper by Blue oyster cult for so long, thank you so much:steamthumbsup:

Forgive me for my absence, as I have been busy with life. I no longer have the time of day to spend working on this mod, so all updates will be put on hold indefinitely. Many songs still work, but some don't.

I'm not saying this mod will never be updated, but as of now, I have no plans to update it. This may change in the future. Thank you.

Thank you for bringing up that the Master of Puppets and Dokken tapes are not working! I've been away for a bit so I didn't have access to fixing these issues, but I'll have them fixed shortly.

None of Dokken casettes work whatsoever
