Barsink

Description
The Barsink

"Sunk twice, decommissioned, re-commissioned, sunk again, used as a Mudraptor nest, salvaged, converted into a dive bar, and then finally refurbished and re-commissioned, how this tub stays afloat is a miracle."

The "Barsink" is a heavily modified Barsuk sub with a unique layout and lots of... character. With manual overrides for almost all of the sub's systems, it is perfect for Captains with a penchant for micromanagement and control. In spite of (or perhaps due to) its name and operational history, the Barsink has been retrofitted with an advanced ballast and drainage system, allowing it to continue operation even with severe damage. Where other subs would plummet into the abyss, the Barsink can limp along just far enough to reach the next outpost. You might not arrive in style, but at least you'll arrive!

FAQ

Bar-"Sink"? is this sub reliable?
Any incidents of flooding resulting in fatalities have been found to be caused by error on the part of the Captain(s)/Crew involved, not the design of the submarine or the engineer(s) who designed it.

The turrets have blind spots/don't cover the [section] of the sub!
Correct! The placement of turrets is strategic to maximize potential combat effectiveness where enemies are most likely to attack and minimize potential collateral damage to sensitive parts of the sub. If you find the enemies are always behind you, try not running away from them!

Where's the electrical discharge coil?
While the advanced battery control can account for normal fluctuations in load, a sub of this size cannot support a discharge coil without sacrificing the operational capacity of other systems. If you find you would frequently need a coil to dislodge pests from your hull, consider utilizing one of the many turrets to neutralize threats before they reach the sub, or try using one of the multiple exit hatches to dislodge them manually.

I don't like all the automatic stuff/how do I override [malfunctioning system]?
The Barsink was (re)designed by tinkering Engineers with control-freak Captains in mind! Many systems have override levers or switches mounted nearby, and the Command Room has independent shutdown switches for both the reactor and battery array to fully cut power to any errant systems.

What are those bloodstains in the Medbay sink? What happened to the previous Captain?

There problem with ship where, in front of ship past the captain area sometimes is doesn't have enough oxygen, is this on purpose or nah.

This is an amazing sub! I was searching far and wide for a sub suitable for my 2 player campaign. I was reserved to do the Barsuk uptiering myself, but this is above and beyond what I could have thought of, loving those upgrades, and I'm especially thankful that you left a lot of "standard" things like auto reactors up to the actual player (unlike some custom sub creators who just take care of everything, eliminating the need to tinker with the vessel yourself).
