Description: The Qipip is one of the strangest species we've discovered so far. Qipips don't have an actual shape; they are just a blob of organic matter with a mechanical frame. They don't own multiple planets, instead only existing on Talathiska, their planet of origin. The Qipip are incapable of reproducing the "normal" way; instead, they use strange pods full of organic matter that creates a new Qipip every skublarg (a Talathiskan unit of time equal to roughly 12 Earth days). As soon as a Qipip is born, the leader of that segment of the planet will make a decision that affects the way it's going to live. You see, Qipip are divided into two groups; the Taxtrithons, the lucky individuals who get to spend their lives on the surface, and the Zinkitogs, stuck underground and forced to spend their lives checking and repairing the network of tubes which powers their planet. They're expected to do this at only, like, 3 seconds old, mind you. If a Zinkitog manages to escape to the surface, it will die shortly after for unknown reasons. It's believed that the Qipip were once ordinary creatures, until they became so attached to their technology that they slowly devolved until they were no more than amorphous blobs that could barely be classified as living things. It would be interesting to travel to an alternate timeline where they never degraded into blobs and remained as normal creatures living a normal life. Until such a thing becomes possible, we can only wonder what could have been.

Other Information: It is inspired by something I created in Spore.
