Description
The RHG2 Wadjet is a compound coaxial rotor attack recon helicopter of the Khertland army. The compound coaxial design enable a impressive top speed of 255.6 km/h. It is armed with 4x ATGMs with about 3.7km range and equipped with a mast mounted sensor suite for observation at tree top level.

The army had been running war game scenarios of responding to a northern invasion on the continent and came to a realization the vast open space required a very large army to maintain a contiguous front line. A approach to the problem without breaking the bank was needed and army leaders quickly came up with the idea of dispersion in order to cover the 1000km+ frontage. The army organized around the reinforced regiments as its primary independent maneuver element. Together, the regiments would form a front line with each responsible for a frontage of about 20km but up to 100km separated each regiments. The idea being that an enemy advance through the gap could be theoretically responded to by one of the neighboring regiments within 30 minutes, effectively giving any potential breakthrough a narrow time slot to do so.

But the isolated nature of the regiments meant they could not effectively support each other and served as an island of defense. While on the offensive, the army can stack multiple regiments on to one area as their focal point. This left the army with another problem; how to know when to move its regiments? And that was the purpose of the Wadjet. The army had been employing the Sylphid for the purpose of reconnaissance but it was slow and unarmed making it very vulnerable if moved ahead of the front line. Instead it was better suited in its original purpose as an airborne early warning to give a heads up to the regiment it is supporting.
The Wadjet instead would actually need to be armed enough to defend itself as it will be far ahead of the front line with very few friendlies to protect it. It will need to be able to spot enemy movement at least 30 minutes before they make contact with the main force. So it is armed with 4x ATGMs for self defense but is likely insufficient if it encounters a substantial force. This meant it also needed speed to retreat and fall back. The high speed would also allow it to quickly move across a wider front reducing the amount of helicopters needed to surveil the forward area. This requirement is why it necessitated the compound coaxial design. The coaxial rotors allowed for higher speed as it completely resolved the unbalanced lift of traditional configurations but at the expense of agility. With the lift issue resolved, it can fully exploit the advantage of the pusher prop configuration attaining high speeds.

Lastly, the Wadjet is much faster than the Kilgore and so could react much quicker to an enemy breakthrough. As such, it will provide close air support to the air mobile regiments whose job is to act as a mobile reserve and close any gaps that is being exploited. With three times the speed of typical ground assets, it can respond to any breakthroughs across a much broader front in a timely manner.

Thanks. I tried to move away from simple blocky shapes with the aesthetics, and a good lore is very important to me
