Suzuki Kizashi

Kizashi (Trillion) is a sedan manufactured and sold by Suzuki. Or a concept car. In Europe it was classified as a D segment.

On July 30, 2009, US Suzuki announced "Kizashi".

After that, from October 21, 2009, sales started in the form of complete build-to-order manufacturing in Japan.

Models for Japan, the US and Europe were produced at the Suzuki Sagara Plant in Shizuoka Prefecture. Initially, it was also sold in the North American market, but with the withdrawal from the market later, it became a sales model for Japan, Europe, and China.

From 2013, introduction began as an investigation vehicle for the Japanese police.
This is Suzuki's first introduction in this class, and the equipment is different compared to commercial vehicles, such as changing to fabric seats and not having fog lights.
In 2014, black and white police car specifications were also deployed at some police headquarters. There were 908 units introduced as police car specifications, which accounted for more than a quarter of the total number of registered Kizashi in Japan, so it was even said that ``If you see Kizashi, think it is a police car.''

The engine is installed horizontally with improved output from 166PS to 188PS by improving the J24B type of in-line 4-cylinder 2.4L DOHC all-aluminum engine that is also installed in the Escudo. In addition to Jatco's JF011E type [15] CVT (with paddle shift) for the transmission, a 6-speed MT was also available for specifications outside Japan.

As for the drive system, 4WD and FF that adopt i-AWD, which was also used in the previously announced concept car, are available. Suspension is MacPherson strut in the front and multi-link in the rear. The brakes are 4-wheel disc brakes manufactured by Akebono Brake Industry.
