Solar wind 1 was a prototype using space sails exploit to reach 10 000 m/s.
Solar wind 2 was the polished product of that concept.
Sails were fixed and so Solar wind 2 was no more.
Now back with Solar wind 3, using angled thrusts, very low drag pattern and a custom planet with the longest diagonal possible.
Same speed can be achieved on a smaller map by slapping more thrusters.
Out-of-play speed breaks at 10.000 m/s which is why it's the limit.
It does the entire Neter perimeter in something like 40 seconds.
