It's fine! I honestly agree. It's a surprisingly cool reload for a series that mostly lacked reload animations for the first 2 games.

you turn the gun upside down, take it's empty magazine out, and slap a new mag in, and cock the charging handle.

Because, for some reason, Free Radical Design made the 3rd game's "Soviet Rifle" look like a stockless FAL with an AK magazine. This is despite the 2nd game having a proper AK for its "Soviet S47."
