Harris Aero Ha. 209 'Owl' Light Airliner

Description
Built for the Weightworks competition.

The Ha. 209 sports 2 engines and 9 passenger seats, hence the name. It is equipped with minimal instrumentation and equipment, lacking even a radio, to save on cost and weight. Despite this, the aircraft has proven itself reliable and tough, with performance just adequate enough to keep it serving for much longer than it ought to.

Range: 175 Mi. at cruise speed
Cruise Speed: 100 MpH (70% throttle, 0.75 prop pitch)
Maximum Speed: 113 MpH (100% throttle, 0.75 prop pitch)

Crew: 2
Pax: 9
Fuel: 703.125L
Powerplant: x2 3-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines
Propeller: x2 2-blade Variable Pitch
Dimensions (L-W-H): 9.5m - 12.75m - 3m

After Take-Off Guide:
1. Prop pitch to 0.75 and throttle to 70%
2. Climb to desired height for cruise
3. Activate Stabiliser
4. Make sure to actively steer the aircraft, the stabiliser is ONLY for the pitch axis

SAFETY NOTICE, PLEASE READ
Due to the nature of the aircraft, when just taking off the aircraft has a tendency to pitch up quickly. Be ready to counteract this immediately, or risk a stall.

Thank you, and a Fox Moth replica may be next on the list

I like compact designs and this is one of the best examples of it.
Take-off guide #3 reminded me a documentary about fox moth. :)

Also thanks for participating, I added it to the Weightworks collection.
